Joe Budden @ S.O.B.'s 12.29.09

So, this was my first time ever seeing a Joe Budden solo performance (in the whole 7 years I've been a fan... that's a shame right?). I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. His set was 3 HOURS LONG! But he definitely made every minute worth it. I laughed, i cried (yes, one of the tracks had me emotional), and most importantly... i enjoyed every minute if it. Hats off to you, Joe Budden.

Oh, and shouts to Brandon for co-signing me and saving my ass downstairs and to Mecca who is now a GOD to Budden fans because, as Joe had him come up onstage to tell, he actually founded Slaughterhouse (unbeknownst to me) AND he showed up with Sara Jay on his arm. Yes, THAT Sara Jay. LoL If you don't know who she is, google her. LoL

Shouts to Jay Electronica too... forgetting that he started following me on twitter. LoL And lastly but certainly not least, shouts to New Bread and A-King from PNC radio for feeding me and driving me back to BK after the show!

Rihanna Myspace Release show @Hammerstein Ballroom 12.03.09

So after waiting since 5pm and a couple of fights erupting at the front of the line right before they started letting people in (late), doors to Rihanna's myspace release finally opened around 7:30/8pm. I saw quite a few people that I knew in attendance, shouts to Blogxilla, Rahim from Vlad TV, Mike Navarra from Sony, Jacques Morels, Techie, Frank from True Exclusives, Ni-Sun, Johnny Nunez, Al Major, Walik, and anybody else I'm forgetting... LoL I can't remember everybody.

Once the show started, it was short but dope. It was a real SHOW... from the stage set to the dancers to her costume changes... I enjoyed it. I'm not used to going to full on SHOWS anymore... LoL I was entertained. Good times. And of course, you can never beat free. Thanks Myspace! ;o)

Mateo feat. Outasight & Emilio Rojas @ S.O.B.'s 12.02.09

So I had the pleasure of shooting Mateo for his debut headlining show in New York last night at S.O.B.'s. The homie Emilio Rojas opened and was afraid the crowd (comprised of mostly females there for R&B lol) wasn't going to take kindly to his "Bold & Arrogant" rapping. LoL He was wrong (see the video and judge for yourself). :oP My other homie, Outasight, also made a guest appearance during Mateo's set to perform a song they have together as well as a song of his own. The crowd loved it!!!

And of COURSE, everyone loved the man of the hour. Shouts to Jo who came all the way from DC for the show!

Major shouts to Quddus for looking out!
